BANGKOK, THAILAND – The
judging process has now been completed for the inaugural South East Asia
Property Awards 2011, November 30, 2011 at Hotel Fort Canning, Singapore,
with a shortlist of winners selected in 28 categories, including Best
Developer, Best Development, Best Condo and Best Villa Development for every
country around the region as well as awards for Best Architectural and Interior
Design and a Green Development Award. (See below for full list of nominations.
Ensign Media, publisher of Property Report South East Asia Magazine, launched the first ever South East Asia Property Awards to recognise the crème de la crème of the region’s residential real estate industry. With thousands of nominations submitted from across the region, the SEAPA’s will set a new benchmark for excellence.
The panel of judges headed up by Leong Chi Meng, Managing Director (SEA), CBRE Global Investors spent several weeks scrutinizing all entries and engaged in hours of discussion to decide on the final shortlisted properties in order to ensure that they were all deserving of their status. BDO Advisory supervised the entire judging procedure in order to guarantee the fairness, transparency and credibility of the South East Asia Property Awards.
“The shortlist demonstrates how amazingly diverse and exciting real estate in South East Asia is right now,” Terry Blackburn, CEO of Ensign Media said. “The properties and companies the judges have chosen stand equal to those in the industry anywhere in the world and we hope that the recognition they will receive will raise the profile of real estate in our region to even greater heights internationally. The shortlisted companies and projects will all receive either Highly Commended or Winner recognition at the glittering Gala Dinner and presentation ceremony to be held on November 30th at Singapore’s Hotel Fort Canning, which will be emceed by Channel NewsAsia celebrity Otelli Edwards. The identities of the Winners will be kept tightly under wraps until the presentation to ensure maximum excitement for attendees on the night.
The Dinner and Awards Ceremony will receive extensive coverage on Channel NewsAsia and via other media outlets online and in print and is expected to attract a sell-out crowd of up to 400 leading figures from the region’s property sector.
