Party for Japan raised THB 100,000 for the Japanese Tsunami Relief Fund
The Rawai
Nai Harn Business Association is proud to announce that it was able to raise
THB 100,000 for the Japanese Tsunami Relief Fund at it's “Party for Japan” event
last Wednesday at the DaVinci Restaurant in Nai Harn.
Featuring a
live broadcast from 7pm until 10pm by the internationally renowned DJ Mark
Wilkinson from 91.5 followed by a live band from 10pm until late over 300
people attended the event which was sponsored by the following companies: 91.5FM, The
Vijitt Resort Phuket, Serenity Resort & Residences Phuket, Atmanjai Detox
& Wellness Center, DaVinci Restaurant, Golden Tulip Mangosteen Resort &
Spa, Wine Connection, Andaman Wine Club, Absolute Vodka, Pluto Ice Cream,
International Law Office Patong, Rotary Clubs of Phuket.
The event
was organized to launch the new Rawai Nai Harn Benefits card which is free of
charge to local residents and offers 15% discount at all of the participating

great to see such a large turnout in the middle of the week from many of the
Rawai & Nai Harn residents as well as many others from all over the island”
commented Mark Norris the co-owner of DaVinci Restaurant.
“Raising
funds for charity and supporting the local community while at the same time
raising the awareness of the Rawai Nai Harn area of Phuket is our main
objective as the Rawai Nai Harn Business Association” Commented Urs Aebi,
manager of the Serenity Terraces Resort.
Michael
Massey of Atmanjai stated that “This is something we want to continue to
do and organize events on a regular basis throughout the year at all of the
participating venues”
