 Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club Invitational Swim MeetPHUKET, THAILAND – THANYAPURA, Phuket’s unrivalled sports campus for all, will host the first Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club Invitational Swim Meet at TSLC on 30th April – 1st May 2011. As one of the featured events scheduled to coincide with the 2011 opening of Thanyapura, the inaugural TSLC Invitational Swim Meet for ages 6 to 18 years old is expected to draw more than eight hundred people, enhancing Phuket’s growing global reputation for international athletics. Three hundred swimmers from Bangkok, Phuket, Saphan Hin, Surat Thani, Trang, Krabi, Songhkla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phang Nga and Ranong will compete in TSLC’s Olympic standard 50-metre 8-lane swimming pool while spectators cheer them on from the 600-seater shaded grandstand. Warm
ups will start both mornings at 7AM. Competitions begin at 9AM until 5:30PM,
with each swimmer participating in up to six events and two relays. JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa Paving the Way to a Brighter Future for Children in Phuket JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa made a number of donations for Phuket’s less fortunate children during January 2012.
The donations were in line with Marriott Hotels & Resorts’ belief in not only taking care of its Marriott Associates but also the world around them, and its co-operation with SOS Children’s Villages Thailand, which works to find loving homes for children in need. Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Mai Khao Beach contributed EM Water to help Flood Victims Recently, Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Mai Khao Beach leaded by Simon Morley, General Manager and the management team contributed 500 litres of Effective Microorganism water to Regional Environmental Office 15 Phuket.
